With graduation around the corner, one gets to thinking. And when like me thinks, one wants to organize said thoughts. So I've started reminiscing on the last few years. Here's the beginning, my freshman year..... It first became real to me that night on a balcony at Rice Hall, overlooking the campus as I completed my weekend of freshmen orientation. What had seemed for so long to be merely an afterthought had slowly worked it’s way to the forefront, and it was at this moment that I knew for certain I would spend my college years here. It was one of those timeless moments that stand out as a marker on life’s road, with me staring into the night at a quite campus, surrounded by the lights of a place that would soon become my home. My thoughts were filled with conflict, with unease and trepidation as I wondered if I’d made the right decision, and with excitement and anticipation at this world I was about to enter, knowing that there was no tur...

Have you ever sat on the porch of a bank (hours after closing) and ate TCBY and told stories from the olden days? You know what days I'm talking about, those days back when gas was less than a dollar and all was right with the world? Well as of Thursday I have, and let me tell you, it was great. Such is life in Starkvegas. Since I only have 15 days left in Starkvegas I have a list of restaurants I have to go to, and last night I crossed Dreamland off that list. That was some good ribbin', I tell you what.

Yesterday I took a test written by Satan himself, otherwise known as the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. It was 8 hours of pure, unalduterated h***. Why I took it in the first place, I don't know. It seemed like a good idea two months ago when I signed up for it. It's weird having only three weeks in Starkville left. Sort of exciting but at the same time sorta sad. I will write more on this subject when I organize my thoughts. Also, its been like 5 days since I've seen my baby. Yes I'm talkin to you Taneka. My life has sucked with you out of town, so hurry back..... Also I'm looking for a mindless action book to read, something along the lines of Tom Clancy (although I've read all of his). Any suggestions?

Last night I officially committed to the UF law school. By that I mean I paid my deposit. It's weird how randomly I make my decisions, and how much this decision is gonna affect the next few years of my life. 6 months ago I wasn't sure I even wanted to go to law school, it was like I was applying "just in case." Three months ago I was dreading the big decision and had no idea how I was gonna chose. Two months ago I still wasn't sure, but I had ruled out UF completely and was leaning towards FSU. Then all of a sudden one day I woke up and was like "UF it is." Then my dad basically confirmed it. And now the decision I thought I was gonna postone until the last possible second has been made a month before it has to. And what have I based it on? who knows...but strange how much one's disposition can change in such a short time, and in such a life altering manner.... For the record: 25 DAYS UNTIL GRADUATION

Today I took my first step towards becoming a crooked lawyer. Me and Taneka went to Ole Miss for a law school open house day. She is now a lyin' fool. She stole some poor girls name tag and went by Carroll Walker all day long, while also posing as my fiancé. During one of the sessions, the dean of the law school was talking about some of the reasons that people want to become lawyers. Perhaps they like John Grisham novels or legal shows like the practice. Or maybe someone they admire is a lawyer, possibly a family member or even a fictional character like Atticus Finch. As he was talking, I was wondering why I want to become a lawyer. But I'm not sure if I even want to be a lawyer. Or why I'm going to law school. But regardless, I am going. So I've come to the conclusion that none of my decisions (especially the big, life changing ones) are based on any rational thought or logical reasons. I pretty much decide something on a wh...

Last night I was in an abusive mood, and Eric and Nash got the brunt end of it playing basketball. Eric I physically abused, he just needs to learn to not even try and score on me. And Nash I verbally abuse, he just makes it sooo easy sometimes. To both of them let me offer my sincerest apology, I will try to be less abusive in the future. Although if Eric jumps up for a shot in front of me, I just don't know if I'll be able to resist a two hand push into the wall. What can I say, Í have anger problems. I'm just an angry person who likes to pick on those smaller than me. Otherwise known as a bully. I've been obsessed with the Godfather trilogy lately. I've watched part one and three a couple times and I spent this afternoon watching bonus material and deleted scenes. They're great movies if you havnt seen them. Theres this strange appeal about the Don, but its also sorta depressing cause at the end of their lives, what was...
